I Am Pleasantly Surprised ....

Even if the statement is late, Senator Rounds has demonstrated the ability to point out one of Trump's racist comments when Trump takes aim at something South Dakota specific.
Senator Thune and Representative Johnson have apparently given their social media team the night off.

Sorry if i can't share your optimism about Mike Rounds, Leo. He's done more to advance the erasure of American Indian culture than nearly any modern South Dakota politician. From the evisceration of the Endangered Species Act to the attempted privatization of the Indian Health Service to pushing uranium extraction on lands sacred to tribes to trafficking Indian kids to the white foster care industry by violating the Indian Child Welfare Act to supporting the main stem dams. Republican is not only just another word for earth hater it's another word for white supremacist.

And lest we forget: with the help of other fanatics like Jeremiah Murphy and Lee Schoenbeck Mike Rounds signed legislation that shields predators within his own religious cult from prosecution.

Larry,

I was surprised, maybe shocked, that he said anything at all. The fact that he mentioned the massacre and pushed back even a little seemed worth the post.

As you implied, one swallow does not a summer make.
