I Think I Just Saw 3 of The 4 Horsemen of The Apocalypse

I've always thought Christopher Hitchens is one of the best writers using the English language, so I will bow to his judgement when he claims that the King James Bible is superior to modern translations and use the King James to support why I think that this screenshot of today's "The Slatest" brings to mind the three of the four frightening horsemen.

One would have to be obtuse not to see the Japan battle as the pale rider "and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him"(Revelation 6:8).  At least 50 of those who have tried to stop the radiation expect to die in the coming months.

The Quran burning is certainly the red horse "and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword" (Revelation 6:4)

Last summer, BP "forth and subdued" the Gulf. This year, BP has apparently found a white horse to cow regulators:  "And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer" (Revelation 6:2).

I'm probably being a bit too flippant on a Sunday afternoon. People are dying to save the lives of their countrymen.  Idiot extremists who claim to be devout Christians and Muslims are making a mockery of their faiths and causing the deaths of innocent people.  Finally a multinational corporation is being given the chance to continue destroying the Gulf of Mexico.  These news stories should make each of us pause and realize that we live in a rather dangerous world.
